The letter is FAKE, was NOT issued by the SADC Secretariat, and was produced using a manipulated SADC letterhead. Its contents are false and misleading and should be disregarded in their entirety.
SADC does not require any clearance fees for financial transactions as alleged in the fraudulent document.
We urge the public to exercise caution and verify any communication purportedly from SADC through official channels only.
